Defect Summary

Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2026 heartland cyclone travel trailers and cyclone fifth wheel trailers. The inverter may have been installed without a grounding connection.

Safety Consequence

The electrical system may overheat without a ground, increasing the risk of a fire. There is also an increased risk of injury from electrical shock.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install a ground wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed july 10, 2026. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9905661.
