Defect Summary
Nova bus (us) inc. (nova bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 lfs transit buses. The mounting screws may be too short, stripping the threads and causing the bike rack to detach.
Safety Consequence
A detached bike rack can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Nova bus will replace the mounting screws, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed november 28, 2026. Owners may contact nova bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova bus's number for this recall is cr5957.
