Defect Summary

Tiffin motorhomes, inc. (tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 open trail, wayfarer, and 2026 midas recreational vehicles. The cargo carrying capacity (ccc) label may have been incorrectly printed on a white label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 120, "wheels and rims-other than passenger cars."

Safety Consequence

The incorrect label color may make it difficult for the operator to locate the loading or tire pressure information, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed june 2, 2026. Owners may contact tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is way-107.
