Defect Summary

Thor motor coach (tmc) is recalling certain 2018-2022 axis 25.6 and 2018-2021 vegas 25.6 motorhomes. the heat shield between the lp tank and chassis muffler was not installed.

Safety Consequence

A missing heat shield increases the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install a heat shield, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed july 22, 2021. owners may contact tmc customer service at 1-877-855-2867. tmc's number for this recall is rc000228.
