Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain model year 2014 crusader fifth wheel trailers, model csf315rst, manufactured september 26, 2013, through march 3, 2014. In the affected trailers, the slide room actuator bracket may come into contact with the tire under certain road conditions.
Safety Consequence
If the bracket comes in contact with the tire, sudden tire failure may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will install a replacement bracket that will adequately clear the tire, free of charge. the recall began on april 17, 2014. owners may contact forest river at 1-574-862-3001.
