Defect Summary

Micro bird usa, llc (micro bird usa) is recalling certain 2026 g5 transit buses equipped with certain qrt-deluxe and qrt-max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Safety Consequence

An unlocked wheelchair can move during transit or during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 8, 2025. Owners can contact micro bird customer service at 819-477-2012. Micro bird's number for this recall is 25-117-qvc.
