Defect Summary

Forest river bus, llc (forest river) is recalling certain 2024 mobility trans safetbus, glaval universal, 2025 senator ii, and starcraft allstar transit buses equipped with certain s-series and k-series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.

Safety Consequence

A wheelchair lift that continues to move while occupied increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will correct the wiring by installing two diodes, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 10, 2026. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest river's number for this recall is 51-2093.
