Defect Summary
With the driver seat in the forward most position, the safety belt is excessively tight for persons whose dimensions are those of a 95th percentile male, resulting in non-compliance with fmvss no. 208, "occupant crash protection."
Corrective Action
The factory safety belt buckle assembly will be replaced using a substitute buckle assembly which has the capability of being extended to achieve the proper fit for 95th percentile males.
