Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2024-2026 rockport trucks. Some wiring may have been incorrectly routed. The underside of the hood may contact and damage the wires, causing a short circuit.
Safety Consequence
A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will reroute the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 19, 2026. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-522-7599. Forest river's number for this recall is 51-2096.
