Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2027 salem and wildwood travel trailers. The exterior griddle may be stowed while still connected to the lp gas line.
Safety Consequence
A griddle stowed while the gas is still in use can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 19, 2026. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest river's number for this recall is 06-2095.
