Defect Summary

Forest river bus, llc (forest river) is recalling certain 2019-2022 lone star vans built on ram promaster chassis. Cracks in the microprocessor may cause the rearview camera image not to display properly.

Safety Consequence

A rearview image that does not display properly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect the rearview camera. Forest river will work with ram to replace a damaged review camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 19, 2026. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest river's number for this recall is 82-2089 and ram's number for this recall is 60c.
