Defect Summary

Shyft group (shyft) is recalling certain 2025 utilimaster velocity vehicles. The incorrect vehicle load value may be listed on the vehicle cargo carrying capacity label.

Safety Consequence

Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Utilimaster will provide new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed may 18, 2026. Owners may contact shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-04.
