Missing side reflectors/fmvss 108
Defect Summary
Winnebago industries, inc. (winnebago) is recalling certain 2027 suncruiser and 2026-2027 sunflyer motorhomes. The side reflectors may not have been installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Safety Consequence
Missing reflectors can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will install reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed april 24, 2026. Owners may contact winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 204.
