Defect Summary

Ktm north america, inc. Is recalling certain 2022-2023 390 duke and 2022-2024 rc 390 motorcycles. Water may enter the throttle (e-throttle) control unit and cause it to fail, resulting in loss of drive power while riding.

Safety Consequence

Loss of drive power while riding increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Corrective Action

Ktm will inspect and replace the e-throttle control, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed april 30, 2026. Owners may contact ktm customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will become searchable on nhtsa.gov march 31, 2026. Ktm's number for this recall is ktb2606 & htb2603. This recall expands previous nhtsa recall number 25v598.
