Defect Summary

Winnebago towable (winnebago) is recalling certain 2026 access travel trailers. The gross axle weight rating (gawr) may not be listed on the certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, "certification."

Safety Consequence

Missing weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers or owners will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed march 13, 2026. Owners may contact winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280 ext. 5220. Winnebago's number for this recall is 44448204.
