Defect Summary
Grand design rv, llc (grand design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.
Safety Consequence
A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will properly secure the solar panels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed march 4, 2026. Owners may contact grand design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand design's number for this recall is m910053. This recall has been superseded by recall 26v276.
