Defect Summary

Roadmaster inc. (roadmaster) is recalling certain blackhawk all terrain, falcon 2, falcon all terrain, falcon 3hd, liberty, sterling, and nighthawk tow bars. The roll pin that secures the t-bolt to the stinger may loosen, causing the tow bar t0 separate from the hitch receiver.

Safety Consequence

A separated tow bar can result in the tow vehicle detaching, increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install a security band or replace the t-bolt assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 2026. Owners may contact roadmaster customer service at 1-800-669-9690. Roadmaster's number for this recall is 910-rpr.
