Ladder bolt may damage cng cylinders
Defect Summary
The heil co. (heil) is recalling certain cng tailgate ladder kits sold as replacement parts, installed on heil cng front loader vehicles only. an incorrect bolt may have been installed in one of the ladder legs, allowing it to contact and damage the cng cylinders.
Safety Consequence
A damaged cng tank can leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Heil will replace the ladder bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 8, 2026. Owners may contact heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345. Heil's number for this recall is sn-26-001.
