Defect Summary
Dometic corporation (dometic) is recalling certain fan-tastic vent fans with part numbers 9610007185, 9610007184, 9610007183, 9610007182, 9610007181, and 9610007180. The vent fan assembly may be missing a hinge pin, allowing the lid to detach.
Safety Consequence
A detached lid can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and replace the hinge pin as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed may 29, 2026. Owners may contact dometic customer service at 1-888-943-4905.
