Defect Summary

Weldon division of akron brass (akron brass) is recalling certain enovation controls powerview 700 displays with part number 610-00060-080-st or 610-00060-080. The display may stop responding to touch commands or fail to power on, preventing the activation of exterior emergency lights, fire fighting and other emergency equipment.

Safety Consequence

A loss of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Inoperative equipment can delay emergency response, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Akron brass will update the firmware, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed may 11, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available. Owners may contact akron brass customer service at 1-800-228-1161. Akron brass number for this recall is tbs-26-04-034.
