Defect Summary

Cummins, inc. (cummins) is recalling certain pd7000 electric drive, part number bes cm0904 ev104b. The system control module (scm) software error may cause a stationary vehicle to move unexpectedly.

Safety Consequence

Unintended vehicle movement increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will update the scm software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed may 8, 2026. Owners may contact cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467.
