Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2027 leprechaun and freelander recreational vehicles. A battery posted mounted breaker may not be installed, leaving the power feed wire without overcurrent protection.
Safety Consequence
A unprotected power feed wire increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will install an overcurrent protection device, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed august 3, 2026. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest river's number for this recall is 210-2085.
