Defect Summary

Evenflo company, inc. (evenflo) is recalling certain litemax factory select child seats with model number cs100111198. The weight and height limitations are stated incorrectly in the spanish language manual. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 213, "child restraint systems."

Safety Consequence

Incorrect information in the manual may result in an improperly restrained child, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Action

Evenflo will mail owners a corrected spanish language manual, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed april 21, 2026. Owners may contact evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.
