Defect Summary

Evenflo company, inc. (evenflo) is recalling certain titan 65 child seats with model numbers cs200312198, cs200311198, 3712198, and 3711198. The child seats may have been manufactured without a tether strap.

Safety Consequence

A child seat with a missing tether strap may not adequately protect a child in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Evenflo will advise owners to inspect their child seat for a tether strap, and evenflo will mail owners a tether strap with installation instructions, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed march 13, 2026. Owners may contact evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.
