Defect Summary

Blue bird bus company (blue bird) is recalling certain 2019-2027 vision and all american school buses. A loose 12-volt cable may disconnect, causing a loss of electrical systems.

Safety Consequence

A loss of brake assist, drive power, steering assist, or instrument panel displays can increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect, add a torque stripe, and properly tighten the 12-volt cable as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed february 17, 2026. Owners may contact blue bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242.
