Defect Summary
Grand design rv, llc (grand design) is recalling certain 2022-2023 solitude and 2023 momentum fifth wheels trailers. Loose or missing fasteners on the refrigerator cooling unit can allow excessive movement of the unit, possibly causing the propane line to crack and leak.
Safety Consequence
A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect the refrigerator, and repair or replace it as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 23, 2025. Owners may contact grand design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand design's number for this recall is 910052. This recall is an expansion of nhtsa recall 24v378.
