Defect Summary
Mcneilus truck & manufacturing, inc. (mcneilus) is recalling certain 2021-2025 metro pak vehicles. The side and rear reflex reflectors and rear clearance lights may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Safety Consequence
Missing reflectors and rear clearance lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Mcneilus will install the side reflectors and lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 9, 2025. owners may contact mcneilus customer service at 1-888-686-7278.
