Defect Summary

Mcneilus truck & manufacturing, inc. (mcneilus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 volterra side loader trucks. The intermediate side reflex reflectors may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Safety Consequence

Missing reflectors can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Mcneilus will install the side reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 9, 2025. owners may contact mcneilus customer service at 1-888-686-7278.
