Defect Summary

Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2026 heartland bighorn and jayco north point fifth wheel travel trailers. The murphy bed mechanism may fail, causing the bed to fall unexpectedly.

Safety Consequence

A murphy bed that falls increases the risk of injury or death.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the murphy bed mechanism with a new designed mechanism, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed november 19, 2025. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901639.
