Defect Summary

Altec industries, inc. (altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 altec aerial device, and digger derrick vehicles. The chassis ignition circuit may be overloaded, which can result in a blown fuse and cause an engine shutdown.

Safety Consequence

An engine shutdown increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Altec will replace the hydraulic tank heater relay, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed october 29, 2025. Owners may contact altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is csn-3247. This recall is an expansion of nhtsa recall number 24v681.
