Defect Summary

Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2026 seismic fifth wheel travel trailers. The certification label lists an incorrect gross axle weight rating (gawr). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, "certification."

Safety Consequence

The trailer may be accidentally overloaded after referencing the incorrect information, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Jayco will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed september 23, 2023. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901638.
