Defect Summary

International motors, llc (international) is recalling certain 2024-2026 ic bus cesb and 2025 evsb school buses. The tension spring may corrode and break, disengaging the barking brake.

Safety Consequence

A parking brake that is not engaged as expected when the driver releases the brakes may allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the parking brake cable and adjust the parking brake, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed october 6, 2025. Owners may contact international customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25511.
