Defect Summary
Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 lincoln corsair vehicles. Water may enter into the rearview camera connectors, which can cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display or display a distorted image.
Safety Consequence
A rearview camera that displays a blank or distorted image can reduce the drivers view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the rearview camera harness and rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed may 1, 2026. Owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25s83.
