Defect Summary

American manufacturing operations, inc. (amo) 2025 amo utility trailers. The shackle nuts securing the axle to the chassis may loosen, allowing the axle to detach from the trailer.

Safety Consequence

An axle separation can cause a loss of trailer control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Amo will remove the shackle nuts and install new shackle nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed september 3, 2025. Owners may contact amo customer service at 1-419-269-1560.
