Loss of vehicle control from loose shock absorber
Defect Summary
Rewaco spezialfahrzeuge gmbh (rewaco) is recalling certain 2024 rf1 st-3, 2024-2025 pur3 gt, 2024-2026 rf1 st-3 touring, rf1 gt touring, and pur3 gt touring three-wheeled motorcycles. The connection between the piston rod and rod end in the rear shock absorbers may loosen, resulting in a loss of vehicle control.
Safety Consequence
A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the rear shock absorbers, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed september 28, 2026. Owners may contact rewaco customer service at 239-309-3592. Rewaco's number for this recall is rw-stossd-2026-01.
