Defect Summary

Airstream, inc. (airstream) is recalling certain 2025 - 2026 interstate motorhomes. The parametric special module (psm) may fail to lock the controls, allowing the awning to be extended during transit.

Safety Consequence

An extended awning can detach, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will correct the psm pinning assignment, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed july 31, 2025. Owners may contact airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
