Defect Summary

Shyft group (shyft) is recalling certain 2025 utilimaster aeromaster vehicles. the rear seat belts may not have been installed. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 208, "occupant crash protection."

Safety Consequence

A passenger riding without a seat belt has an increased risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Owners are advised not to allow passengers to sit in the rear seats until the remedy has been completed. dealers will install the rear seat belt, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 29, 2025. owners may contact shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. shyft group's number for this recall is 25-10.
