Defect Summary
Oshkosh corporation (oshkosh) is recalling certain 2025 defense ngdv ice 2wd, awd, and bev 2wd vehicles. the rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 111, "rear visibility."
Safety Consequence
A blank rearview camera display can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Oshkosh will inspect and replace the head units as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 22, 2025. owners may contact oshkosh customer service at 1-800-830-3554. oshkosh's number for this recall is ngdv_tsb_036. vehicles that were previously recalled under 24v-928 will need to be inspected and possibly have the head unit replaced again.
