Defect Summary

Nova bus (us) inc. (nova bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 nova bus lfs transit buses. the high voltage batteries may have loose hardware that can fall inside the battery pack and create a short circuit.

Safety Consequence

A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Nova bus will replace the batteries, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed june 5, 2025. a second letter will be sent once the remedy is available. owners may contact nova bus customer service at 800-350-6682. nova bus's number for this recall is cr5687.
