Defect Summary

Paccar incorporated (paccar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 peterbilt 220, 2024-2025 peterbilt model 220, and 2022-2025 kenworth k270 and k370 medium-duty battery electric vehicles. the cradle harness may have a loose electrical connection that can cause a loss of drive power.

Safety Consequence

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and replace the cradle harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed september 8, 2025. Owners may contact peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220 and kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888. paccar's numbers for this recall are 25kwd and 25pbd.
