Defect Summary

Sumitomo rubber industries, ltd. (sumitomo) is recalling certain dunlop tt93fgp pro and tt93fgp pro ms motorcycle tires, size 120/80-12 55j and 100/90-12 49j. During manufacturing, some of the sidewall compound may have contaminated the tread surface, reducing the tire's traction.

Safety Consequence

Tires that do not provide sufficient traction increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the tires or provide reimbursement, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on october 7, 2025. Owners may contact sumitomo customer service at 1-800-845-8378.
