Defect Summary
Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain bronco upfit kits sold as accessory parts with part numbers m-bronco-wad, -wbd, -w3, -w4, -w9, -w10, -w11, and w12. The rearview camera on the spare tire carrier may not be compatible with certain 2024-2025 ford bronco vehicles.
Safety Consequence
A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle and increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed mailed august 6, 2025. Owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25s78.
