Defect Summary

International motors, llc (international) is recalling certain 2024-2025 hx vehicles. an insufficient amount of lubricant in the front steer drive (fsd) axle hubs may result in damage to the wheel bearings.

Safety Consequence

Damaged bearings can cause the wheel to separate and result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect the lubricant levels, and add lubricant or replace parts as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed december 23, 2024. owners may contact international customer service at 1-800-448-7825. international's number for this recall is 24516.
