Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2011, 2016-2019, 2021-2024 rockport work trucks. the rear liftgate may have been installed without a u-bolt on the driver and passenger side, which can allow the liftgate to fall to the ground when loaded.
Safety Consequence
A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and replace the u-bolts, as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 17, 2024. owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-522-7599. forest river's number for this recall is 65-1700.
