Defect Summary

Daimler trucks north america (dtna) is recalling certain 2025-2027 freightliner business class m2 vehicles. The underbody insulation may contact hot exhaust components.

Safety Consequence

Insulation that comes into contact with hot exhaust components increases the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed november 30, 2026. Owners may contact dtna customer service at 1-800-547-0712. Dtna's number for this recall is f1041.
