Defect Summary

Honda (american honda motor co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 vt1300cx and 2024-2025 vt750 motorcycles. The fuel pump may malfunction due to a manufacturing defect.

Safety Consequence

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed beginning november 27, 2026. Owners may contact honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is ku9. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will be searchable on nhtsa.gov beginning october 8, 2026.
