Defect Summary

Greenpower motor company inc. (greenpower) is recalling certain 2018-2024 ev star and 2020-2023 ev star mobility plus buses. A control module interlock software error may allow the bus to move while the wheelchair lift is deployed.

Safety Consequence

The bus moving while the wheelchair lift is in use increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will update the control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 12, 2026. Owners may contact greenpower's customer service at 1-909-346-1090. Greenpower's number for this recall is gp2604002.
