Antilock braking system may fail
Defect Summary
Autocar, llc (autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2027 actt terminal tractors. The antilock braking system (abs) electronic control unit (ecu) may be improperly secured, allowing the abs ecu to separate.
Safety Consequence
A separated abs ecu may become damaged, causing the abs system to fail and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Autocar will replace the fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters to be mailed september 25, 2026. Owners may contact autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is actt-2601.
