Defect Summary
Airstream, inc. (airstream) is recalling certain 2026 classic recreational trailers and 2025-2027 interstate recreational vehicles, equipped with certain maxxair n-series maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
Safety Consequence
An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the printed circuit board, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed july 22, 2026. Owners may contact airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will be searchable on nhtsa.gov beginning august 21, 2026.
