Defect Summary

Great dane trailers (great dane) is recalling certain 2026 champion dry van trailers. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling.

Safety Consequence

A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Great dane will work with hiab to inspect and replace the deck pins and bushing kits as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed july 24, 2026. Owners may contact great dane's customer service at 1-877-369-3493.
